You’ve heard of destination weddings before, but what about a destination Trash The Dress session? Maria & Peter are newlyweds from the Washington DC area. When they planned their trip down to Key West,
Maria decided to surprise Peter with a sexy Trash The Dress session! All I can say is that they brought the hotness for this one! Going through the images it was so hard to choose favorites because they just gave us so much to work with. And they tried to convince us they were shy! I’m certain that Maria has modeled before and she’s just not telling me!

Maria said she remembered my website when she saw some of my photos on the Knot because of our black and white damask with pink branding. Score! I think it’s so cool that our branding stood out! Usually I love putting our logo on the images because it’s like our artist signature, but the ones from this trash the dress session were so gorgeous I almost didn’t want to! The sky, the palm trees, the gorgeous ocean and the sand, plus a super hot couple – there’s not much “empty” space to work with!

Maria & Peter, thanks for such a fun time and we hope that these photos bring back lots of memories of your romantic vacation in paradise!

It’s 5:30am and we just got home about an hour ago from shooting Maria & Peter’s photo session that I’ve been so secretive about. They haven’t told anyone about the session yet and we’re keeping everyone in suspense until Tuesday when we post lots of goodies from their session on the blog. All I can tell you is that is was HOTNESS! The couple was hot, the location was hot, and the weather was most definitely hot!

I think we can share one pic with you that won’t give it all away. We have a couple of other posts we need to put on the blog so stay tuned for those and make sure to come back Tuesday for more from Maria & Peter’s photo shoot!

CAUTION: May be too hot for your computer screen!

Saturday we met up with Beth for her Trash The Dress photo session, and I am just in awe of the shots that Matt & I got! That may sound really arrogant, but we really can’t take much credit for how these turned out because Beth just freaking ROCKED this shoot!

She should feel natural posing for us by now. After all, this was her 4TH photo session with us! We joke that they are our most photographed couple. We just always have a great time hanging out with Beth & Mark. Here’s a look at all the sessions we’ve done with them:

It’s pretty hard to top their wedding at the zoo. What could possibly be better than carousels, giraffes, trains and a Japanese garden? Saturday answered that question!

After the big day is over a Trash The Dress session is a great way to get some creative, fun shots in your beautiful wedding dress! The great thing about a Trash The Dress photo session is that you don’t really have to “trash” your dress to get great images!

Okay, enough talk. The images speak for themselves. Beth, you totally amazed me on this shoot! After seeing these we might really have to come visit you after you move to Italy for shoot #5! I hope you love these shots as much as we do!

Mark has been around us enough that we thought it was time he took over the camera a bit. Every time he had an idea for a shot, we handed him a camera! Here he is getting a macro shot of the rings. He’s got a great eye! Maybe we should hire him! : )

We knew Deby & Michael’s wedding was going to be awesome, but we had no idea just how fun and crazy things were going to be!

But before the craziness, I want to say it was a beautiful wedding!! We were so happy that the rain held off for the ceremony. There was a light sprinkle during parts of the ceremony, but nothing like the storms we saw in the early afternoon. The sky gave us beautiful lighting to work with and once again the raindrops made all the colors of the grass and trees so vibrant and lovely!

Even though the rain held off, the bride and groom still ended up getting soaked! Toward the end of the evening, Michael picked up Deby and carried her away. Matt & I looked at each other wondering what was going on and then learned he was going to throw her in the pool! I’m pretty sure she agreed to it or else he would have been in serious trouble! It was AWESOME!! We took advantage of the opportunity to snap some pics, though it was a quick Trash The Dress session since kids were splashing and the water caused Deby’s dress to weigh like 75 pounds!

It was a really fun time, which I’m sure you’ll see below. Deby & Michael’s family and friends were such a great bunch of people and the newlyweds definitely seemed like they had a wonderful time!

Congrats, Deby & Michael! We hope your wedding day was everything you had hoped for! Here’s a preview of your photos (LOTS more to come!):
